Our clinic is a super specialty center for ophthalmology. Along with general eye examinations we provide patients expertise on dry eye disorder, refractive surgery and keratoconus management. Patients are treated with skilled excellence and provided with the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment of dry eyes. We evaluate the patients who have come for refractive surgery and provide customized treatment options in all cases. It is managed by Dr. Ritika Dalal, who has more than 10 years experience in the field.

Dry Eye
Management

Dry eye is a common condition and becomes more common with increasing age and affects more women than men. Artificial tears and ocular lubricants are considered the mainstay of treatment. There are two main types of dry eye: aqueous insufficiency (due to reduced aqueous secretion from lacrimal glands) and evapourative (due to a deficient lipid layer).

Customized Refractive Surgery

Wavefront-driven excimer laser photoablation, which changes the shape of the cornea to change refractive error. In addition to treating lower-order aberrations (sphere and cylinder), custom refractive surgery treats higher-order aberrations up to the 6th order.

Keratoconus Management

Keratoconus is a non-inflammatory, bilateral (but usually asymmetrical) disease of the cornea which results in progressive corneal steepening. The prevalence of keratoconus in general population appears to be relatively high and is likely to be higher when examined with corneal topography

Eye health is as important
as physical & mental health.

Certain eye diseases and visual impairments can lead to depression as in cases of severe dry eyes. Patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, or diabetic retinopathy, for example, can experience mild to acute vision loss. One of the most important ways to cope with visual problems is awareness. Simply paying attention to the signs and symptoms is a crucial first step.
